Artists & Desginers of WINTER BLAST- Holiday Handmade Market
Firelight Jewelry & Designs was started in 2007, as a creative hobby making earrings as presents for close friends and family. With a little nudging from those friends and family owner and designer Jenn Quinn started an online ETSY shop firelightjewelry.etsy.com and artfire firelightjewelry.artfire.com shop and began selling locally in Astoria at church fairs and coffee shop markets. Two years later what started out as making simple earrings has expanded to include necklaces, bracelets and beaded bookmarks using natural and manmade gemstones such as: amethyst, labradorite, garnet, turquoise and rose quartz, as well as sterling silver and silver plated wires and chains. Jenn strives to source the best material she can for the best price she can passing the savings on to the customer, creating designs that can easily go from cubicle to cocktails without breaking the bank. She believe great accessories should not be a luxury. Recently Jenn has incorporated her love of photography into her love of jewelry making by making photo tile pendants-her original photographs adhered and glazed onto square metal pendants creating wearable art. Firelight Jewelry & Designs will be showcasing next at Winter Blast. Winter Blast- artists and designers
Vivian Dritsas owner of The Little Soap Shop started out making soap as hobby in her kitchen. She was always obsessed with nature's elements, so decided to make her own soap and loved it! During college, she found herself taking all sorts of hands on art classes, like painting, sculpture and pottery. Although, far from being an artist or a painter, working with her hands was always a joy and she found true interest in hand crafting soap. Each batch of soap is superfatted with premium oils and butters. She only uses pure essential oils either cold pressed or steam distilled, and absolutely no synthetic fragrances or colors. All of her soaps are tested on friends, family and herself. Her products are 100% VEGAN. Visit
