Firelight Jewelry & Designs was started in 2007, as a creative hobby making earrings as presents for close friends and family. With a little nudging from those friends and family owner and designer Jenn Quinn started an online ETSY shop firelightjewelry.etsy.com and artfire firelightjewelry.artfire.com shop and began selling locally in Astoria at church fairs and coffee shop markets. Two years later what started out as making simple earrings has expanded to include necklaces, bracelets and beaded bookmarks using natural and manmade gemstones such as: amethyst, labradorite, garnet, turquoise and rose quartz, as well as sterling silver and silver plated wires and chains. Jenn strives to source the best material she can for the best price she can passing the savings on to the customer, creating designs that can easily go from cubicle to cocktails without breaking the bank. She believe great accessories should not be a luxury. Recently Jenn has incorporated her love of photography into her love of jewelry making by making photo tile pendants-her original photographs adhered and glazed onto square metal pendants creating wearable art.
